House Painting Denver

Have a look at Dan N's review below---I agree 100+%!! Do not fear, AT ALL, contracting with House Painting Inc. They will renew your faith in what craftsmanship, professionalism and pride in work really can be. They go WAY above and beyond what is reasonably expected. They spent a week, starting at 8 am every morning and ending at 5 pm,  painting the inside and outside of my home and my garage. They moved and protected everything they needed to, to do the job. Professional, attention to detail, absolute quality---I could not be more satisfied with their work.
More recently, professional painters are responsible for all preparation prior to painting. All scraping, sanding, wallpaper removal, caulking, drywall or wood repair, patching, stain removal, filling nail holes or any defects with plaster or putty, cleaning, taping, preparation and priming are considered to be done by the professional contracted painter.
If there is any peeling — and there usually is somewhere — it's essential to scrape off any loose paint. This doesn't just mean the parts that are already separated from the wood and ready to fall off on their own. Each spot where paint has peeled loose needs to be scraped thoroughly until you can no longer get the sharp corner of a putty knife under any of the surrounding edges of paint. Then, the bare spot needs to be sanded until the paint edges are smooth.

“We hired Webfoot to paint our house in the Summer of 2009. He gave us a competitive bid, work started on the day he scheduled and concluded as per schedule. The workers and Gavin were very reliable, cleaned up their work space at the end of each day and were very trustworthy. The final project was exactly what the bid was and we wouldn't hesitate to call Webfoot for future projects. ”
The materials of the home’s facade should be considered before painting your home. When painting flat surfaces like siding or wood, you can opt for standard outdoor paint. When painting a textured surface like stucco or brick, “elastomeric” paint is a much better choice. This type of paint can stretch more than normal paint, which allows it to bridge over small gaps and crevices, painting smoothly over texture.
A fresh paint job has the power to totally transform the look of your house in less time and for less cash than any other remodeling project. That thin skin of resin and pigment also protects your investment, shielding it from sun, wind, and rain—until the paint begins to crack and peel, that is. Then it's time to button up with a couple of new coats. Properly applied, new paint should last for a good 15 years, provided you use top-quality materials, apply them with care (and with an eye on the weather), and, most important, clean and sand every surface first. Here's what you need to know to get a first-class finish on your home's exterior.

Yet another 5 star for them. They already have a perfect 5 stars with 246 reviews at the time of this writing--I feel like they're hoarding all the 5 stars... Anyway, they deserve it. I interviewed a number of different painters, and they were the most responsive and professional. Their rates were competitive too. So, I went with them. I had paint done inside and outside my house. Some of it was rather tricky--the outside is on a hill, and the inside has some funky artsy stuff going on that I had them do. The people doing the painting were very professional, and did a very detailed job of prep work before the actual painting, which is something this detailed-eye notices. The final result was impressive.
President Trump sits comfortably at a table with a glass of Diet Coke inches from his left arm. Looking noticeably leaner, the president has a charming grin on his face as he listens to Abraham Lincoln. Surrounding the pair are a host of other past Republican presidents: the Bushes (George H.W. and George W.), Gerald Ford, Richard Nixon, Theodore Roosevelt, Dwight D. Eisenhower and Ronald Reagan.
Part of the process of preparing a residential or commercial structure for occupancy is painting walls and other surfaces that require paint. Some home and business owners perform this job themselves, but it can be a time-consuming and labor-intensive process, especially when the property is large. That is why many individuals and businesses hire house painters to perform painting for them. The primary job of the house painter is to apply paint to the interiors and exteriors of the building in consultation with the building owners. There are several processes involved in executing a project, including selecting the right paints, preparing surfaces by cleaning them, making small repairs and applying touch-ups to blemished areas, and performing other tasks necessary to ensure that the final result is satisfactory to the client. House painters may work for a contractor or they may be self-employed agents.

Before the scrubdown, protect nearby plants by misting their leaves and saturating the surrounding soil with water, pulling them away from the house, and shrouding them in fabric drop cloths. (Plants will cook under plastic.) Lay more drop cloths along the base of the walls to collect any falling paint debris. Walls should be wet down before getting scrubbed, then washed with a gallon of water mixed with 1 cup chlorine bleach and 1 cup of either a concentrated, phosphate-free cleaner, such as a trisodium phosphate (TSP) substitute, or Jomax House Cleaner. Working in sections, from the bottom to the top, will avoid streaks. Be sure to rinse walls well before the solution dries. Wood siding and trim should be ready to paint after a day or two of dry weather.
Painting professionals might charge more or less to paint your home's exterior based on its construction material. Some materials cost more to paint than others because of their texture, the paint required to properly cover them, and whether specialized materials are required to prepare them for painting or the elements. A number of details will affect the cost of painting the exterior of your house, such as its size, accessibility and siding type. In many cases though, preparation often has the biggest impact on the bottom line.Your local exterior painting contractor will take a look at the project to determine how extensive repairs and preparation will be and if special equipment, materials or paints are needed to get the job done right.
